Located about 20 minutes north of Cairns, the Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail offers fantastic views of the rainforest, and an unforgettable day in Kuranda Village.
This tour combines two of the regions most popular tours:
Both the Historic Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail gondola over the rainforest. Let the adventure begin…

Specifically engineered for breathtaking views, there’s no better way to see the rainforest! As the Skyrail takes you high above the canopy, your view of the rainforest will be completely unrestricted.
Stop off at not one but two different stations to explore the rainforest from the ground.
Red Peak Station provides a beautiful walk along a boardwalk through the trees. Barron Falls Station provides a spectacular view of the famous Barron River Waterfalls.
Your tour starts with a pickup from right outside your hotel.
Then, it’s off to to the train station first.
After the train, you arrive in the rainforest village of Kuranda.
Here you’ll have free time to explore the region further.
Visit the historic Kuranda markets, the Butterfly Sanctuary or Koala Gardens, all at your own pace.
Then return over the rainforest your journey on the breathtaking Skyrail begins.
At the base of the Skyrail cableway, you will meet your driver air-conditioned coach, which will take you back to your hotel.
