1 Review for “2 Day Falls and Tablelands Fun”

  1. 2 Day Falls and Tablelands Fun review by David S

I did the rainforest tour with on the Wallaby last two days and had a really really good time. Bart was our guide for the first day and he's a very high spirited individual that has an amazing memory when it's about names. Although the day started off a bit rainy he makes everyone feel like it doesn't matter all that much. The area the tour was in was beautiful and the rainforest really is a special area to be in, damp, dark and full of life! It is a great tour if you do the day tour but it really shines when you pick the overnight option. The lodge you stay in is the cutest and all people working there are friendly and helpful. They genuinely try and make things happen for you if they are possible. If you're adventurous they offer the option to do night canoeing which is absolutely worth it. Even if you do not see everything you wanted to see being on a canoe in the rainforest at night is a very unique experience. There's a ton of strange sounds and it makes you realise how much life there actually is in these places. Our second day tour guide was called Dee and even though his weather predictions are absolutely awful he's a blast to be around. Highlight of the tour was the mountain biking in the morning which is very doable if you've never been on a mountain bike (like myself). You'll definitely not regret hopping on this tour and is totally worth your money, especially if you do the overnight option!
